The head of state recalls that “26 athletes who competed in six sports (badminton, bocce, cycling, judo, wheelchair tennis and shooting) won 12 podiums: two gold, two silver and eight bronze, among other outstanding achievements. brands both individually and collectively.
Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa also leaves “a word of encouragement to all the athletes and technical teams in their preparations for the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games”, emphasizing “the dedication, dedication and commitment” that “led to excellent performances” and emphasizing “the importance of sport as well as factor of social integration”.
