Actor Luis Aleluia, who died in June at the age of 63, will be honored with a concert in September in Loulé and Lisbon, which will assemble a team from the show “Noite de reis”, one of the last in which he participated.

“On September 10 and 23, the Twelfth Night team is going to a concert in memory of Luis Aleluia – “Ao Luís Aleluia – Concerto de Homage”. The first performance will take place in Lola, at the Cineteatro Louletano, on September 10 at 11:30 am, and the second will take the stage at the Teatro Armando Cortés at 6:00 pm on September 23,” said a statement released this Thursday by Casa do Artista, whose director was an actor.

The “Noite de Reis” team, a creation of the Teatro do Eléctrico directed by Ricardo Neves-Neves, thus fulfills “the promise made to Luis Aleluja to organize a fundraising concert for the Casa do Artista”.

Revenues from the two shows, which include among others “classical music moments, solo pieces for piano and accordion, music by actor João Tempera, and an essay on the importance of humor by actor Filipe Vargas”, will be fully returned to the budget. for Casa do Artista.

Luis Aleluia has been part of the management of Casa do Artista, a project to which he has dedicated himself since its inception.
