Vitor Soares, known as Vito and partner of Sonia Jesus, was sentenced to three years in prison for lesser crimes related to drug trafficking in Operation Cemente em Pó.
Vito will serve the rest of his term under house arrest with an electronic bracelet. When the verdict was read out, the family could not contain their emotions. Everyone hugged and cried from the verdict.
“I hope the time you spent in prison will help you organize your life,” the judge said at the end of the hearing.
The companion of the former Big Brother member is prohibited from making contact with other defendants in the process.
Amilcar Teixeira, Edmar’s father, also a former member reality showreceived a suspended sentence, but received the longest sentence, four years and three months.
