The Office for the Prevention and Combating of Violence in Sports (APCVD) has filed an administrative offense case against a Benfica representative against a Sporting Braga football player.
“The Office for the Prevention and Control of Violence in Sports (APCVD) has established an administrative offense procedure to determine the facts and the resulting liability,” the APCVD said in a statement.
This refers to the behavior of a Benfica representative, who has yet to be identified, who, next to the bench of the Lisbon team, crossed, apparently on purpose, the path of a Sporting de Braga player, who eventually fell.
Footage from the Women’s Super Cup semi-final played on Saturday, which the Eagles won on penalties (3-3, 4-2), shows a competitor that appears to be from Benfica’s technical staff. , striking a Sporting Braga player.
Already today, the captain of Sporting Braga, Dolores Silva, asked the question: “What is it for? For my colleague to fall and get hurt? I don’t want to be the protagonist of this!”
According to the APCVD, we can talk about illegal behavior of an administrative nature in relation to one of the players, namely, a violation of “failure to fulfill the obligation to apply corrections, moderation and respect.”
