FC Porto filed a protest document with 84 points with the Council of Justice regarding the game in the Dragon against Arouka. The Dragons are demanding a replay of the game because they believe that what is at stake is not a failure in the video referee (VAR) system, but how the match referee reacted to this “glitch” when using audio. – The referee (AAR) has to change the situation, which according to FC Porto is an important decision for the game.
“The referee who annuls a penalty by resorting to a VAR system with systemic deficiencies, so that in the stadium they turn it into a kind of AAR (Audio Referee), is committing an error in applying the Laws of the Game”, can be read in paragraph 22 of the document drawn up “ dragons.”
