At the first gala of the Liga Portugal Awards, which took place this Thursday in Alfandega do Porto, Roger Schmidt was the winner of the category voted on by the coaches and the captains.
Although he was not present at the ceremony, the German left a message of thanks for the award via videoconference.
“Of course I’m glad, it’s a good prize. I am happy for him, but when you work in football or are part of a sports team, there is always a responsibility on the part of the players, the staff, the technical team. as well as the club. That’s the way I see it, but I’m happy with the choice,” he said.
