The Great Ones will face their first opponents in the Portuguese Cup. Eighteen teams will find out the results on Tuesday.

This Tuesday, the 18 I League teams will face their first opponents in the 2022/23 Portuguese Cup in the third round draw, which will take place in Cidade do Futebol in Oeiras.

FC Porto, trophy winner and national champion, will make their debut in this round, as will the remaining 17 first-place teams, along with three district opponents – Curense (AF Viana do Castelo), Oriental (FF Lisbon) and Sporting. de Pombal (AF Leiria).

This round still includes 12 teams from League II after the elimination of Feirense, Estrela da Amadora, Torreense and Sporting da Covilhã, 15 from Ligue 3 and 16 from the Portuguese Championship.

The tour, scheduled to take place on the weekend of October 15 and 16, will feature I League clubs that are unable to meet each other as hosts.

The draw for pairs of 64 clubs is scheduled for 5:30 p.m.

Clubs participating in the draw for the third round of the 2022/23 Portuguese Cup:

I League: Benfica, Boavista, Casa Pia, Desportivo de Chavez, Estoril Praia, Arroca, Famalican, Porto, Gil Vicente, Maritimo, Pacos de Ferreira, Portimonense, Rio Ave, Santa Clara, Sporting, Sporting Braga, Vitoria de Guimarães. and Wiesel.

II League: Farense, Moreirense, Leixões, BSAD, Mafra, Penafiel, Vilafrancunce, Trofense, Oliveirense, Academico de Viseu, Nacional and Tondela.

Third League: Varzim, Montalegre, Sanjoanense, Oliveira do Hospital, Belenenses, Caldas, Amora, Canelas 2010, São João de Ver, Real Massama, Vilaverdense, Vitoria de Setúbal, Felgueiras, Fontinhas and Anadia.

Portuguese Championship: Pevidem, Serpa, Vianense, Braganca, Immortal, Olhanense, Beira Mar, Tiersense, Pero Pinheiro, Valadares Gaya, Sao Martinho, Rabo de Peixe, Dumiense, Machico, Camasha and Sertanense.

Districts: Curense, Oriental and Sporting de Pombal.
