Two people died after another new wave of Russian airstrikes and explosions in Ukraine overnight in the Kherson region, Ukrainian authorities said this Monday.
Kherson Governor Alexander Prokudin said the Russian attack killed a 72-year-old man and an elderly woman and wounded three others, Reuters reported.
The Kherson governor also reported that four people were injured as a result of the drone attack on the city of Berislav. “The occupiers deliberately attacked a place with a large crowd of people, planting explosives near the local bus station,” he said.
According to the governor of the Odessa region, Oleg Kiper, the target of the drone attack was the Izmail region, where the Danube river ports used for grain exports are located. Keeper also said that 11 drones were destroyed as a result of attacks in the region.
