In Jeddah against Uzbekistan, the Saudis from Al Ittihad left Group C’s problem solved within the first 45 minutes thanks to accurate strikes from Harun Kamara (11) and Romarinho (15 and 42).
In the same “pool”, the Portuguese Jose Morais, who leads the Iranian “Spahan”, began the tournament in Iraq with a draw against “Al-Quwa Al-Javiwa” (2-2).
