Sporting Braga were defeated this Wednesday by Naples 2-1 in the first match of Group C of the Champions League, to which they returned 11 years later.
Back in the group stage, Braga’s side were defeated at home by a goal from Giovanni Di Lorenzo in the 45th minute and an own goal from Niacate in the 88th minute, after Bruma had equalized in the 84th minute.
Sporting Braga starts the campaign goalless and sits bottom of Group C, in which Real Madrid beat newcomers Union Berlin (1-0).
