A woman who went missing on Wednesday morning was found after attending Mass at the Fatima shrine. Alzira is a visitor to the Casa do Povo de Tabuado in Marco de Canaveses. Together with other users of the institution, he went on a journey to Fatima.
The woman attended the 11 a.m. mass but disappeared at the end of the celebration. Several requests for help from Alzira’s family and acquaintances circulated on social networks, reporting that the user was suffering from psychological problems.
This Thursday afternoon, Casa do Povo de Tabuado reported on the social network Facebook that the woman “has been found and is doing well.”
The institution thanked civil defence, firefighters and the GNR for their work in the search for Alzira.
