A 32-year-old gunman was arrested on suspicion of causing a series of shots fired that began in a house and continued into a classroom at the Erasmus Medical Center in Rotterdam. There were fires in both places.
The suspect, a university student, shot and killed a 39-year-old woman and seriously injured her 14-year-old daughter, who eventually died. After setting the woman’s house on fire, he went to the aforementioned hospital department, fatally shooting a 46-year-old teacher.
