Englishman Anthony Taylor will officiate the match between Porto and Barcelona in the second round of Group H of the Champions League, UEFA announced this Monday.
Taylor, 44 and an international since 2013, will be assisted by compatriots Gary Beswick and Adam Nunn as assistants, while the video referee (VAR) will be Stuart Attwell, assisted by German Bastian Danckert.
The game at the Dragau Stadium will start at 20:00, after the result of the other Group H game between Antwerp and Shakhtar Donetsk is known and kicks off at 17:45 (Lisbon time).
FC Porto and FC Barcelona, featuring Portuguese players Joao Cancelo and Joao Felix, top the group after winning the first round.
In the next game of the second round of the Champions, scheduled for Wednesday, between the Germans Leipzig, led by Fabio Carvalho, and the English teams Manchester City, represented by Ruben Dias, Bernardo Silva and Matheus Nunez, UEFA appointed Arthur Days Soares as the referee.
The Portuguese are assisted by Paulo Soares and Pedro Ribeiro, with Thiago Martins in VAR, supported by Dutchman Clay Ruperti, and Fabio Melo as the fourth official.
