With such a reduction, a liter of gasoline could cost an average of 1.79 euros, and a liter of diesel fuel – about 1.74 euros. This would be one of the biggest falls in fuel prices in Portugal this year, and in the case of petrol, if the most pronounced scenario is confirmed, it would be the biggest price drop of the year within a week.
Meanwhile, the price of a barrel of Brent crude for December delivery ended at $84.57.
