Sporting won this Sunday against Arouca with a score of 2:1 at the end of the eighth round of the I Football League and regained the lead in the championship in a game with two sendings off.
At the José Alvalade Stadium, Sporting took the lead through a goal from Sweden’s Gyökeres in the 31st minute, but Arroca equalized in the 52nd through Spain’s Mujica, while the Lions had already played one goal less due to the expulsion Diomanda at 42 years old.
Sporting managed to return to the lead at 68 thanks to Japan’s Morita, while Arroca also finished with 10 players due to the exclusion of Rafael Fernandes at 87.
