Dane Morten Julmand was fined 103 times during the month he represented Lecce, totaling about ten thousand euros.

The Danish midfielder, who moved from Lecce to Sporting during the last close season in exchange for 18 million euros (plus three for goals), received 103 fines between November and December 2021, Italian newspaper Corriere del Mezzogiorno reported on Wednesday. allegedly for driving his car in a restricted traffic zone.

Hjulmand was caught on traffic cameras in the center of Lecce, the city of the club he represented. The current Sporting player appealed against fines of €83 per unit plus €12.35 for notification costs, with the municipality waiving 23 of them due to notification delays and covering the cost of legal fees (€520). However, the player will have to pay the remaining 80 fines (a total of about 7,600 euros).

However, the midfielder was again called up to the Danish national team for the qualifying games against Kazakhstan (on Friday) and San Marino (Tuesday 17th) for the 2024 European Championship.

IBRAHIMOVIC RECOMMENDS MILAN
The Swede Ibrahimovic recommended that Milan (his former club) sign his compatriot Giokeres, a striker for Sporting. According to the Italian press, the possible deal is compromised by a release clause of 80 million euros.

THE UNSTABLE SWEDE
Ghiokeres was voted the league’s best striker in September, scoring three goals in three games, ahead of Bozenic (Boavista) and Bansa (Spain Braga). “My adaptation was easy. There is a very good trade union there and they help me with everything. It was very positive,” Giokeres told Radiosporten.
