The event, which will take place at the Jorge Anginho Pavilion in the city of Coimbra, will welcome as special guests the brothers Ana and Pedro Valgode, who took second place in the world of figure skating in 2019.
According to Claudia Martins, the initiative also involves 12 invited clubs from Coimbra and the districts of Guarda and Leiria, including nearby municipalities such as Cantanhede and Mira.
“These are clubs that already have some traditions in figure skating, with more experience than our section, and which also do us honor with their participation in order to make this spectacle richer and more attractive not only for fans of this discipline, but also for themselves athletes. to the general public,” he emphasized.
The AAC’s 80-athlete figure skating section, which includes roller hockey and figure skating, employs 25 pre-competition professionals.
