An ex-Liverpool player has been issued an arrest warrant for failing to reward the man who found his dog.

The United States of America (USA) has issued an arrest warrant for Englishman Daniel Sturridge, a former star of the Liverpool football team, a newspaper reported this Thursday. Daily mail.

The 34-year-old former footballer publicly offered a reward to anyone who could deliver his dog safely in July 2019. The amount was to be received by Foster Washington, an American rapper who helped Daniel Sturridge find his dog Lucci. more than 28 thousand euros, as determined by the Los Angeles court, in 2021.

In September, the former England international missed a hearing where he would have had to account for his personal finances. As a result, the US issued an arrest warrant for Daniel Sturridge to bring him to justice.

The above hearing was rescheduled for November 30th.
