“This is a gross military provocation that is leading the situation to irrevocably catastrophic circumstances for the United States to persistently introduce various strategic nuclear weapons into the Korean Peninsula, where there is the possibility of an ongoing military clash and the danger of nuclear war is rampant,” he said. This is stated in an editorial by the North Korean state news agency KCNA.
The nuclear-powered aircraft carrier USS Reagan arrived Thursday at the port of Busan, 200 miles southeast of Seoul, accompanied by a strike group that includes the destroyer USS Shoup and the guided-missile cruiser USS Robert Smalls.
