Died after being hit with a bottle during a street fight in Bairro Alto in Lisbon.

Daniel Galhanas, 19, died on Saturday after being hit in the throat by the remains of a glass bottle in Bairro Alto, Lisbon. The victim was left on the sidewalk to bleed while the suspects fled. First aid to the young man was provided by a brigade of Lisbon volunteer firefighters who were passing by the scene of the incident (the barracks are located 300 meters from the crime scene). Upon arrival of INEM, the victim was in cardiopulmonary arrest and was bleeding profusely from the neck. INEM then transported him to San Jose, where his death was announced.
