The FPF Disciplinary Council on Tuesday justified the reasons for closing the Dragau stadium for one game. The throwing of fireworks by fans of FC Porto at the Moreirense stadium (1-2), which injured two children, resulted in punishment and a fine of 5,610 euros. “In the 37th, 67th and 74th minutes of the game, fans of Futebol Clube do Porto – Futebol, SAD (…) exploded three firecrackers (one in the 37th minute and two in the 67th minute), two pots with smoke (one in the 67th minute, another in the 74th minute) and even a “flash” immediately after the end of the game. (…) The second firecracker, released in the second half of the game (minute 67), was thrown into the upper north stand area, hitting two children, one of whom was 10 years old, who was temporarily unable to hear. due to the noise of a firecracker explosion and symptoms of dizziness and vomiting, who received treatment at the Guimarães hospital, and another 17-year-old girl who suffered a superficial burn on her leg as a result of being hit by parts of the said firecracker, and was assisted by the team doctor present at the stadium,” you can read in the message about the events that took place in the 1st round of the championship (14.08). FC Porto has already announced its intention to appeal to the Court of Arbitration for Sport.
