Four airports in France evacuated due to bomb threat

According to the report, the airports of Montpellier, Bordeaux, Nantes and Lille were evacuated this Thursday due to a bomb threat. BFMTV.

According to Mayor Hérault on X (formerly Twitter), the police are at Montepellier airport “to establish Security Perimeter” and the region’s sappers were called.

In Lille, the airport was evacuated around 10:30 local time (9:30 Lisbon time), leaving 300 passengers injured. The alert ended shortly before 12:00 and the gradual reopening of the airport is now underway.

On Facebook, Bordeaux Airport also confirmed a local evacuation. “We will promptly keep you informed of the situation,” the publication says.

Lille airport, which had already been evacuated on Wednesday, received new bomb threats by email, according to the Ouest-France newspaper.

This Wednesday, six French airports have already been evacuated due to bomb threats received by email. Among them are the airports of Lille and Nantes, which were evacuated again this Thursday.
