Juventus announced this Thursday their “full support” Nicolo Fagioli,” the footballer is under investigation for illegal betting in Italy.
In its statement, the Turin-based club mentioned its readiness to “offer the player the necessary assistance to comply with the therapeutic plan” imposed by the Italian Football Federation.
On Tuesday, the institution’s justice department officially suspended Nicolo Fagioli from office for seven months.
The Transalpine emblem is confident that “once the suspension is completed, the player will be able to safely return to competition.”
Fagioli was the first to emerge in the illegal betting scandal, which also includes Newcastle midfielder Sandro Tonali and Aston Villa player Nicolo Zaniolo.
