Portuguese rider Miguel Oliveira (Aprilia) considered Saturday a “positive” as he managed to find “some kind of rhythm” for the main race of the Australian MotoGP Grand Prix, which he finished in 13th place.
Oliveira, who started from 19th place, crossed the line 19.443 seconds behind the winner, France’s Johan Zarco (Ducati), ahead of Italy’s Francesco Bagnaia (Ducati) in second place, 0.201 seconds behind, and Italy’s Fabio Di Giannantonio. (Ducati) is in third place with a score of 0.477.
“Today [sábado] It was a little better than yesterday [sexta-feira]. We found some speed and rhythm for the race and it was positive,” the Almada rider began to explain.
The Portuguese rider recalled that he managed to “score some points despite not being 100 percent happy with the bike.”
“I had some good moments, even last weekend in Indonesia we were fast and competitive. We managed to find a good set-up, but it was a little late and we still made the wrong tire choice. Here in Australia we have made a good choice. choice,” emphasized the 28-year-old Portuguese racer.
Oliveira explains that he is still “learning” on the RSF team.
