Following the elimination of the four contenders for the first division and the postponement of the match between Camacha and Famalicão to November 18, the draw will announce the 1/8 matches that will take place on the weekend of November 25 and 26. Kick-off is scheduled for 12:00 at the Cidade do Futebol in Oeiras.
FC Porto, winners of the last two editions, champions Benfica, holder of the record number of trophies, Sporting and Sporting Braga, as well as nine other teams of the first league, participate in the draw, which will be carried out without restrictions of previous rounds .
Paredes from the Portuguese Championship of the fourth division, Canelas 2010 from the third division, Torreense and Lenc Vilaverdense from the second division eliminated Moreirense, Desportivo de Chavez, Rio Ave and Farense from the competition respectively.
Historic Vitoria de Setúbal, currently in the Portuguese Championship, also loomed against Leixões from the second division, as did Dumiense against AVS, while Amarante and Serpa, also from the fourth division, eliminated Académica and Pero Pineiro, the third. respectively.
Atlético da Malveira is the only “resistance” in the district championships, having upset Marco 09 of the Portuguese Championship in a tiebreaker on penalties, just as it had already defeated Atlético de Arcos de Valdeves.
