TAD grants Porto precautionary measure regarding Dragao suspension

The Court of Arbitration for Sport (TAD) upheld the preventive measure presented by FC Porto on Friday after the Disciplinary Board (CD) of the Portuguese Football Federation (FPF) closed the Dragao stadium for one game.

A source connected with the process confirmed this Thursday to the Lusa agency the consideration of the decision of this jurisdictional body, which suspends the application of the punishment dictated by the professional department of the disciplinary body on October 10, allowing the “blue and white” to continue to play games in their premises while they await the final assessment of their resource.

The CD FPF imposed a sanction on the club to stage the fight behind closed doors, as well as a fine of €5,610 for “qualified failure to fulfill other duties”, and also imposed a fine of €3,060 for “serious attacks on spectators and other participants”.
