The Portuguese Professional Football League (LPFP) launched an investigation this Sunday to determine the cause of the fall of a barrier, one of the fences, at the Oliveirense stadium, resulting in three minor injuries.
“The Portuguese League announces that it will launch an investigation to determine the reasons that led to the fall of one of the barriers separating the bench from the pitch at the Carlos Osorio Stadium during the game between UD Oliveirense and UD Leiria, causing minor injuries to three fans.” – indicated in the LPFP.
Following this incident on Monday, the League will rely on the technical inspection commission at the Carlos Osorio stadium to assess the safety conditions, which “will need to be confirmed before the next meeting of UD Oliveirense takes place in the state in which it was attended.”
