Real Madrid are considering Goncalo Inacio as a reinforcement for January.

Gonçalo Inácio has attracted interest from several clubs over the past two seasons, and this time AS is even reporting that the 22-year-old centre-back is on Real Madrid’s target list and is already thinking about what lies ahead. January transfer market. A well-informed journalist, when it comes to questions regarding the reality of the Merengues, reports that the Madrid club will seek to secure the signing of the Sporting defender due to the losses recorded in the defensive sector of the team coached by Carlo Ancelotti.

In particular, AS reports that Real Madrid are already looking for another central defender for the second half of the season, as Eder Militau, the former Porto central defender, has suffered a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee and it is likely that he will miss most of the season remaining calendar this season. In this sense, and given that Ancelotti currently has Alaba, Nacho and Rudiger in his group of central defenders at Real Madrid, the management led by Florentino Perez will be eyeing Gonzalo Inacio as a safe alternative for January. .

Daily AS ensures that the Merengues have held the Portuguese international in high regard since last summer’s defense and have now identified Inacio as a priority target for their defence. Apart from Real Madrid, the Sporting centre-back is also highly respected by Liverpool and Newcastle.

It must be remembered that following the recent contract extension with the Lions, Gonçalo Inácio is now protected by a €60 million exit clause and the aim of the board led by Frederico Varandas, as we have already reported, is to keep the young defender in next market window as this player is seen as one of Ruben Amorim’s key players.
