Algarve’s Pedrao opened the scoring in the 10th minute at Braga’s Municipal Stadium, but Ricardo Horta (48), Al Musrati from the penalty spot (52) and Alvaro Djalo (59) secured victory for Braga. ., in which Banza also scored a hat-trick (83, from penalties, 87 and 90), cementing himself as the championship’s top scorer with 10 goals.
Sporting Braga temporarily rises to fourth in Ligue 1 with 20 points, one more than Vitoria de Guimarães, who visit Moreirense on Sunday, while winning Portimonense remains in 10th place with 11 points.
