Carlos Cruz’s granddaughter will change gender

In an emotional statement, Marta Cruz said Yasmin’s decision was not a surprise. “When we decide to place a life into this World, we must realize that it will never be and should not be a projection of our dreams. You were my first pregnancy, and I was preparing to become the mother of a girl, but I already knew this even before you learned to speak,” she began to write.

“Do I have fears? I have a lot of! How can I protect you from all prejudices, evil and negative comments? The answer is very simple: I cannot do it and I will not do it. But I will always be here, with you and for you, no matter what,” the daughter of Carlos Cruz emphasized.

Remember that Yasmine is the result of an already ended relationship between Marta Cruz and dancer Alexandre Godim. She has a sister, Chiara, who was born from Marta’s other relationship, which also ended, with the gambler Madjer. Yasmin was born at a very delicate time
In her 2011 book Other Victims, Martha Cruz recounted the true ordeal she endured when her father was accused of sexually abusing minors. Martha was 18 at the time and says she turned to alcohol and drugs to cope with her suffering. Soon, at the age of 20, she became pregnant with Yasmine.
