PSP and GNR last week discovered TVDE drivers without contracts and operators without a license

Lack of written employment contracts, disregard for rest periods and cases where an operator worked without a license were the main violations identified by GNR and PSP during a joint inspection of TVDE drivers.

Operation TVDE Seguro was carried out between Monday and Friday by the PSP and GNR, who in a joint statement said they had checked 1,444 drivers working on individual passenger transport platforms in unmarked vehicles (TVDE), registering 569 administrative reports violations. crime.

Among the main administrative offenses identified, there were 61 cases where drivers did not have a written contract confirming the employment relationship with the TVDE operator, and nine cases where the TVDE operator did not have a license to operate.

They also identified 89 violations related to the organization of work and recording of driving and rest time, they added.

In 19 cases, the vehicles did not have the mandatory identification mark TVDE, and in 11 of them there was no identification element at all.

Thirteen vehicles were operated without mandatory periodic inspection.

PSP and GNR stressed that the operation was carried out on “roads where a larger number of vehicles were used for this activity.”

The operation also involved collaboration between the Office of Mobility and Transport (AMT), the Institute of Mobility and Transport (IMT) and the Office of Working Conditions (ACT), which also recorded 147 violations.
