UEFA fined Porto and Sporting Braga

This Wednesday, the UEFA Control, Ethics and Discipline Committee fined the Porto football club €35,750 for the use of pyrotechnic materials in the Champions League match against Antwerp. The Belgian club was fined €20,000 for incidents with fans and the partial closure of the stadium before their next home game of the tournament.

Sporting de Braga were also fined eight thousand euros for lighting torches at the Real Madrid reception in the third round.

The Reds, who were fined €18,750 for lighting torches and €11,250 for throwing objects and have already been banned from selling tickets for the away match at Inter Milan, risk harsher penalties from UEFA following the incidents. at home to Real Sociedad, in the fourth round game on November 8.

Real Sociedad was fined €3,000 for the lighting of torches by its fans in the third round match played on 24 October at Benfica’s home stadium.

UEFA imposed sanctions in the amount of 98 thousand euros on Paris Saint-Germain for the incidents that occurred against Milan in Paris on October 25.

The amount corresponds to a fine of 75,000 euros for the use of pyrotechnic materials, 18,000 euros for blocking public passages and 5,000 euros for trespassing in fields. The disciplinary body also decided to partially ban the French club from hosting the Champions League match, which has been suspended for two years.

For the same match, referring to the third round of the competition, Milan will have to pay 20,000 euros for public incidents and the use of pyrotechnic devices.
