Nottingham Forest fans chanted homophobic chants during a reception at an English Football League match in Brighton on Saturday.
This Monday, the club said in a statement that it regretted “homophobic remarks directed at Brighton players and fans by a minority of fans.” “We are actively working with police to identify those involved,” Nottingham Forest said.
Saturday’s meeting ended with a victory for Brighton with a score of 3:2.
