Spanish international defender Juan Bernat returned to Benfica training on Tuesday after an absence of almost a month due to injury, the Portuguese football champion and I League leader said on Tuesday.
According to information published on the Lisbon club’s official website, Bernat took part in training at the Reds’ training center in Seixal after recovering from a muscle injury, as did goalkeeper Andre Gomes.
Striker Gonçalo Guedes underwent treatment and exercise in the gym, while Danish defender Alexander Bach and Brazilian striker David Neres continue to recover from injuries and did not participate in training in preparation for the Champions League game against Inter Milan.
