This Tuesday, Porto lost 2-1 to Barcelona in the fifth round of Group H of the Champions League, with Portuguese players Joao Cancelo and Joao Felix leading the Catalans’ comeback.
In Catalonia, Brazilian Pepe gave the Dragons the lead in the 30th minute, but Cancelo soon restored equality in the 32nd minute, before Felix gave the Blues the lead to seal the result in the 57th minute.
Group leaders Barcelona with 12 points have secured passage to the round of 16, while Porto, second, and Shakhtar Donetsk, third, both with nine points, remain in contention to reach the next phase after Tuesday Ukrainians beat Antwerp with a score of 1:0.
In the sixth and final round, Porto fans will host Shakhtar on December 13 at the Dragao stadium in a meeting at which it will be decided which of the two clubs will accompany the Catalans on the way to the “eighth”, as the Belgians have already dropped out of the “race” , occupy the last position, without points.
