The Supreme Court of Catalonia, without mentioning the identity of the football player, indicates that “an investigation into the alleged sexual offense has been launched following a woman’s complaint against the football player.”
A source close to the trial told the AFP news agency that the player is Brazilian international Dani Alves, while the Catalan police said the complaint was filed on January 2.
