Nico Williams has renewed with Athletic Club until June 30, 2027, as announced by the Bilbao entity this Friday, December 1, in a statement. The player has extended its relationship for three seasons with the club.
The Athletic has revealed that the relationship with the youngest Williams “has a fixed salary structure with a variable component by objectives” and does not detail whether or not the contract establishes a termination clause.
“The club has renewed for three years a footballer for whom very powerful clubs in Europe were yearning. However, Nico Williams has opted to continue making history at Athletic Club along with his brother Iñaki and the rest of his teammates,” underlines the red and white entity.
Nico, who played in the last World Cup at the age of 20, signed the contract on December 1st in San Mamés in the presence of the president of Athletic Club, Jon Uriarteand the general director of football, Mikel González.
