Jorge Jesus’ Al-Hilal extended their lead in the Saudi League this Friday by beating Al-Nasr 3-0 in an emotional game in which Cristiano Ronaldo saw that the goal was disallowed and gestured that the arbitration the team would be bribed.
Jorge Jesus’ side started the match well and controlled the first half, although no one scored.
Al Nasr, coached by Luis Castro, reacted in the extra stage and had CR7 and Otavio in their starting line-up.
Taliska was the most inconsistent at Al Nasr and had the best scoring chances. However, the outcome of the game was decided by the Serbs from Al-Hilal, led by Ruben Neves.
Milinkovic-Savic (64′) opened the scoring with a header and CR7 led Al Nasr’s uprising. First, with a kick into the side goal (68 minutes), and then with a goal, which VAR did not count due to offside. CR7 did not like the decision and the gesture, repeated three times, seemed to make it clear that Colombian judge Vilmar Roldan was being paid for these decisions. From the bench, Luis Castro also showed a video of the game to the fourth official.
But the worst was yet to come: Mitrovic (90′) made it 2-0 and Milinkovic-Savic (90+5′) scored twice to make it 3-0.
A fair triumph, but due to the exaggerated numbers of Jesus’ team, who now have a seven-point lead (41 to 34) over Al Nasr.
