The National Guard Officers Association this Saturday criticized the “negative differentiation” between the police.
Through a statement to which CM Given access, the association criticized the “risky, unsanitary and painful conditions” to which PPR soldiers are subjected “on a daily basis.” “We don’t see any other public function that would be more exposed to the same risk,” he said.
The officers’ indignation is due to difference in value of functions and additional risks between PJ and the rest of the police and military forces. PJ inspectors will receive a bonus of €996, paid 14 times a year.
The officers found it “insulting and humiliating to see the negative differentiation that attacks the military family and the police family in general.”
“Those who govern us and those who can govern us, we only hope that wisdom and reasonableness will be present in future decisions,” the association concluded.
