Portugal will discuss qualification for the UEFA European Under-19 Football Championship with Denmark, Serbia and Greece in Group 4 of the Elite Round, according to the draw held this Thursday at UEFA headquarters in Nyon (Switzerland).
The Portuguese team, coached by Jose Lima, were exempted from the first qualifying stage and were given seeding status in the draw for the Elite Round, the final qualifying stage, which will take place from March 18 to 26, 2024 at a venue to be designated.
Only the winners of each of the seven Elite Round groups progress to the final, joining Northern Ireland hosting the next UEFA European Under-19 Championship from 15 to 28 July 2024, in which they will become the 2025 European Youth Teams. 20 World Championships were selected.
