The International Federation of Football History and Statistics (IFFHS) has announced the list of nominees for the title of the best referee in the world in 2023, which includes Portuguese Arthur Soares Dias.
Among the 25 names there are other famous referees such as the Frenchman Clement Turpin, the Dutchman Danny Makkelie or the Italian Daniele Orsato, as well as the Englishmen Anthony Taylor and Michael Oliver.
Also nominated are German Daniel Siebert, who will attend the Salzburg-Benfica match in the final round of the Champions League group stage on Tuesday, as well as Slovenian Slavko Vincic, who will manage Naples-Spain. Braga.
