Argentine striker Lionel Messi, French striker Kylian Mbappe and Norwegian striker Erling Haaland are among the finalists for the “Best” award, which is awarded to the best football player of our time, FIFA announced this Thursday.
Portuguese midfielder Bernardo Silva, Erling Haaland’s Manchester City teammate, was among the 12 nominated. The awards for the best in various categories will take place on January 15, 2024 in London.
In 2022, Lionel Messi, who now plays for Inter Miami, received the FIFA award.
