The 33-year-old woman was arrested by the Judicial Police (PJ) on the island of São Miguel in the Azores with 35,000 daily doses of drugs and was being held in preventive detention, the police said this Friday.
In its statement, the SP states that the Department of Criminal Investigations of the Azores, in collaboration with the Republican National Guard through its kinesthetic department, “identified and detained a 33-year-old woman at the time of the crime. for committing a crime related to drug trafficking.”
According to the SP, the arrest “occurred as part of a police operation carried out in the municipality of Ponta Delgada.”
During the operation, it was possible to seize about 15 kilograms of hashish and one kilogram of cocaine, “in total more than 35 thousand average daily individual doses,” PJ points out.
According to the joint venture, after the first interrogation by the police, the most serious preventive measure was applied to the detainee – preventive detention.
