António Tanisa was reported missing on November 24 and was found dead this Saturday in an olive grove about 500 meters from where his motorcycle was located in Baleisan, Beja.
The olive grove where the body was found has already been searched, as has a small pond near the remains found. In addition to the motorcycle, there were traces of blood and cigarettes, prompting authorities to conduct a search, but without success, even using drones, tracking dogs and divers.
He was spotted by a farm worker operating an olive harvesting machine, who alerted authorities. Judicial police have already arrived at the scene, conducted an inspection and the body has been taken to the Beja Hospital mortuary, where an autopsy will be carried out – a necessary examination to determine the cause of death and determine whether there was intervention by a third party.
