David Carmo has been transferred to the B team of FC Porto in a decision that, as you know, Write downwas transferred to the Porto football structure, led by Pinto da Costa and Sergio Conceiço. The reason for the fall of the central defender, in which SAD invested 20 million euros in the summer of 2022, is due to his professional behavior.
The 24-year-old Portuguese defender spent an important part of the season as a starter, losing that status in mid-November. Since then, despite a few unused appearances on the match sheet, he has returned to the eleven in Estoril, having recently been overtaken in the central pecking order by Fabio Cardoso and Ze Pedro.
Carmo will now be part of a team led by António Foglia, repeating what already happened last season with Bruno Costa and now Gabriel Veron.
