This Thursday, the GNR is searching wells to try to understand what might have happened to 82-year-old Palmira Gaspar, who went missing this Wednesday, in Granja, Leiria.
Palmyra Gaspar has Alzheimer’s disease and left home on Wednesday afternoon for a walk but did not return.
The alert was passed on to the GNR, who set up an operational command post at the Karvide fuel pumps, where an elderly woman wearing a gray hat and purple coat was seen at 3pm. The last time people saw Palmyra in Monte Real was at 18:00.
The search for the missing woman began this Wednesday with the support of the volunteer firefighters of Vieira de Leiria and the volunteer firefighters of Ortigosa.
