Aroca beat Portimonense 4-0 to move up to sixth in the standings, just one point short of qualifying for European competition.
The Arukenses entered more sharply and Dabbagh made Pedrau’s “cat shoe” to open the scoring. Alan Ruiz pulled the rabbit out of the hat after an unsuccessful substitution for the Algarve goalkeeper and near half-time to increase the lead.
In the second half, Paulo Sergio made it clear that he came to his senses after the release of Ouattara, but it was a short-lived sun. Aroca cemented dominance in the game and allowed himself the luxury of squandering goals scored. Portimonense was unhappy until the suspension due to Sec’s accumulation of yellow cards with half an hour left in the game. Unsurprisingly, Dabbagh scored the second goal on his personal account, and the American Michel scored his first goal, setting the final score 4-0.
