On December 21, the CJEU, the EU’s highest administrative body, found that UEFA and FIFA had abused their “dominant position” in their actions against the creation of the controversial Super League football, but the director understands that the information conveyed is not inconsistent with the facts of the decision.

“The official press release of the CJEU, on which the media based their information, contained an incorrect headline, causing confusion among journalists and other citizens,” the Spaniard criticized, stressing that this fact “provoked an undeniable misinterpretation of the true meaning of the verdict.” .
