Three foreigners, aged 18, 24 and 28, were questioned on Friday in a Leiria court on charges of kidnapping an alleged 17-year-old computer hacker from Nazaré, who extorted large sums of money from them so they could continue to have access to social networks.
Two of them are digital influencers, Lucas Chavez and Ayrton Brito, and they are supported by João Brito Silva. One lives in Portugal and the rest in Dubai.
The “Pirate” demanded 500 euros and the trio convinced him that he would have to withdraw 50 euros at a time. After realizing which ATM he was using, they waited for him and forced him into a luxury car in Nazar.
A local resident saw the abduction and alerted the PSP, who apprehended the group two hours later. They are free, with weekly presentations.
