A collision between two passenger vehicles, which resulted in two injuries, one of them serious, led to the closure of the additional route (IC) 6 in São Martinho da Cortiça, in the municipality of Arganil, this Monday, a source at the GNR said.
Speaking to the Lusa agency, the National Republican Guard (GNR) of Arganila said that “traffic is blocked in the direction of Coimbra towards the Oliveira do Hospital” and is diverted “along Estrada Nacional (EN) 17, where [os passageiros] enter the entrance to Arganil again.”
Traffic was blocked but traffic resumed on IC16 around 12:45 p.m.
According to the Subregional Command of the Coimbra Region, the alarm was raised at 9:05 am and 12 first responders arrived at the scene, supported by six vehicles from the National Institute of Emergency Medicine (INEM), the GNR and the fire department. .
